What begins as an ordinary day of exploring old family belongings becomes the start of something much bigger. Deep inside a forgotten storage room, Dean and Maya discover a beautifully crafted wooden box hidden among old maps, books and keepsakes. Inside rests a mysterious blue-and-gold Compass, an object unlike anything they have ever seen. At first, it appears to be only an unusual family relic. But the moment Dean reaches toward it, the Compass awakens. Light races across its ancient markings. Strange symbols appear. A hidden path begins to reveal itself, showing glimpses of distant places, forgotten histories and worlds that should be impossible to reach.
